Welcome to Excel Opener Pro. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes how Excel Opener Pro (the "App"), developed by Prasant ("we", "us", or "our"), processes information when you use our mobile application.
Our App is designed to operate primarily offline. All spreadsheet parsing, processing, sorting, filtering, and exporting of your Excel (.xlsx, .xls) and CSV (.csv) files happen locally, in-memory on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your documents or their contents on any external servers.
As a privacy-focused utility tool, the App is built to minimize data collection. We do not require registration, user accounts, or login details to access its features.
When you choose a spreadsheet file using the device's system file picker, the App reads the file bytes directly into your device's memory to render the sheet grid. This data is temporary, stays within the App’s local sandbox, and is never shared with us or any third parties.
Through our integration with third-party service providers (specifically Google AdMob), certain non-personal device information may be automatically collected to deliver advertisements, prevent fraud, and monitor performance:
To keep Excel Opener Pro free for all users, we show advertisements in the App. We use Google AdMob to serve Banner, Native, Interstitial, and App Open ads. These third-party networks may use tracking technologies, device identifiers, and cookies to personalize advertisements based on your interests.

Since we do not collect or store personal data, file logs, or user credentials on any remote server, there is no user data retained by us. Any bookmarks or "favorites" data you manage are stored completely locally on your device and will be permanently deleted if you uninstall the App.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers (if any). If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
